All the emptiness teachings in Tibet, China, Korea, and Japan are based on Nagarjuna’s “Wisdom”.

In this course Geshe Michael Roach is connecting Nagarjuna’s “Wisdom” with the practice of doing mantras, especially in the Medicine Buddha practice. Together we will be discovering:

• The emptiness of the Medicine Buddha and mantra practices in general
• How we typically perceive that things work and how they actually work
• How to apply this wisdom to propel us towards success into our daily life and towards our spiritual goals and realizations

Therefore, all different kinds of practices like meditation, retreat, reciting mantra, and saving someone’s life will then gain new a engine and new fuel to see their results more clearly and more fruitfully. So:

• How does this really work?
• How do seeds really create their results?
• How can mantras (like Medicine Buddha) cure a disease?

This is our 3rd course in this series exploring Arya Nagarjuna’s “Wisdom”. In the first class of this new course, Geshe Michael stressed the importance of reviewing the previous Nagarjuna courses. He said,

I encourage you to go back and look at the earlier segments on The Knowledge Base. If you weren’t there for the first eight chapters, then I really encourage you to look at the videos for the first eight chapters because this book is deep. And if you don’t have a good foundation in the earlier chapters, you’re going to have trouble in the later chapters. You’re going to have trouble in the first chapters with all the preparation, but you’re going to have more trouble if you don’t prepare.
